We like to reward our Youtube subscribers and if you are one of them you may have already seen this video. We wanted to make something slightly different for the British Unicycle Convention video competition and when Sam agreed to shooting a short film about him we jumped at the chance.
Sam is a long time friend of mine and kindly agreed to let me interview him for this video. Watch and if you enjoy, please share with your friends.
We spent the weekend performing shows in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. The weather was fantastic and so were the crowds. We were running a Twitter competition over the two days. We asked the crowd to take a photo of their favourite part of the show and tweet it to us. Our favourite photo will receive a free Voodoo Unicycles wristband. We had loads of great entries but we’ve narrowed it down to one winner.
Our favourite photo has to be this one of Bezza clearing the highjump bar taken by Dylan Jones. We love the angle this was taken from to include the crowd in the background. Well done Dylan and thanks for taking part, your wristband is in the post!
Who had forgotten about King of the Road? We hadn’t and we’ve been hard at work finalising the challenge list ready for the BUC weekend.
If you’ve never heard of KOTR before you’re missing out. It’s become a staple event in the UK Street & trials unicycle scene and continues to grow year after year. Last year saw all the teams step it up a level and we had the highest scores and closest competition yet!
King of the road is a competition where teams complete challenges from a list to gain points. This year we’re holding it at the same time as BUC to try and encourage people to participate. Some challenges are riding related and others are just for fun, so anyone can take part regardless of whether they can ride or not. The challenges must be completed on camera so that the videos can be made at the end.
Here are the videos from last years competition.
To enter, simply fill in our contact form with your team name, members names and your email address and you’ll receive the challenge list on the first day of the competition. Maximum number of team members is 6.
It’s a rubbish rainy Saturday here at Voodoo HQ and to cheer ourselves up we’ve been watching the UNICON 16 footage. It’s about time we started releasing these, so to cure your rainy day blues check out webisode 1 of the Voodoo UNICON Roadtrip!

At the moment we just have the wristbands for sale but when we get the next run of clothing made you’ll be able to buy that through the website too. Checkout is through Paypal, so it is safe and secure.
Check out the wristband promo then go to our shop and buy some now!
The bank holiday just gone saw us demoing at Street Fest in Shoreditch, London. The weather was amazing and we spent the day demoing alongside the BMX display team. It was the first outing for our new 6ft high platform and it performed well. Mike stunned the crowds by dropping from the new platform straight to the floor!
Check out this view of one of the demos from the top of the rig.
